Edit HTML media blocks and choose uploaded assets.
Add video
Choose Video from / to insert an empty video block, then use its media picker to upload or select a ready video. You can also author a video in Source with ordinary HTML. Select an existing media block to change its asset.

An interactive example. Changes stay on this page.
<figure> <video src="https://media.prosefly.com/_video/visual-editor-1.mp4" width="1920" height="1080" controls playsinline ></video> <figcaption>Visual editing in Prosefly.</figcaption></figure>The video block’s options include playback controls, inline playback, and preload behavior. A figure’s caption is part of the document and can be edited with the media.
Add audio
Audio uses an HTML media block. Author it in Source, then use its available media controls in Visual mode. Use a URL from your media library in place of the example URL below.
<audio src="https://example.com/episode.mp3" controls></audio>Audio can also be represented by a schema-defined property in a document or resource. That field is edited in its property control, rather than as a body block.
Check website playback
Uploaded audio and video remain separate from Git and are referenced by URL. Their playback on the published page depends on the website’s HTML and components. Verify it in your website preview; the editor’s preview does not determine autoplay or controls for the published page. See Media for uploads and delivery reporting.
