Edit cells, rows, columns, and Markdown table alignment.
Insert and edit a table
Insert a table from the / menu and type directly in its cells. Use the controls around the table to add rows or columns. Row and column menus provide insertion and removal actions; the column menu also controls alignment.

Markdown tables have a header row and use separator markers for column alignment. Use them for short text, links, and inline formatting. Complex layouts and merged cells do not have a standard Markdown table representation.
Check Source after changing the structure. Use an MDX component or authored HTML in Source when your website needs a more complex table, and verify that rendering in the website preview.
